Piers Cross – Founder and coach
Piers Cross is a transformational and leadership coach, founder of Compassionate Leaders Global, who helps leaders — corporate, community, and personal — to perform with clarity, live with integrity, and lead with purpose. He works with people who are craving more than just results: those who want deeper meaning, sustainable impact, and a compassionate presence in every area of life — work, relationships, community.
Piers brings a powerful mix of lived experience, attending one of the top business schools in Europe, working for several Fortune 500 companies in London and Paris, psychology, coaching and holistic healing into his leadership work.
Having endured personal trauma, burnout, and a journey that includes being a novice Buddhist monk for a number of years, he understands what it means to be hurt, stuck, and yet capable of profound change.
Compassion changed his life. The empathy and understanding the monks showed him allowed him to find that quality within himself. From the brink of addictions, self-harming and suicide attempts this helped to begin the path of transformation.
Over many years he has immersed himself in inner work — from Jungian analysis to practices such as NLP, EFT, hypnotherapy, shamanism, Qigong, tantra, and metaphysics — gaining tools not only for healing, but for cultivating resilience, purpose, and clarity.
He is the author of How To Survive & Thrive in Challenging Times and one of the producers of the documentary, Boarding on Insanity. He is also the host of a leading podcast called, An Evolving Man.
At Compassionate Leaders Global, Piers leads The Compassionate Leader Pathway, a 12-week programme designed for leaders who want to thrive rather than just survive. The course blends:
-
weekly one-to-one coaching
-
peer-group support and accountability
-
video-based learning modules covering emotional intelligence, inner work, relationships, purpose, and legacy
-
ongoing community support beyond the core programme
Piers’ mission is to support people to reconnect with their core purpose, to lead from integrity, to sustain high performance without sacrificing wellbeing, and to be sources of compassionate leadership even under pressure.
He is also a keen runner, artist, poet, musician, gardener and nature lover, and devotes himself to giving back through community work. He lives in West Yorkshire.
